What an amazing start to the new year! Only two months into 2013 and we have already conducted several very successful simulation training webinars aimed at our new instructors, added London Business School and the Higher Colleges of Technology to our list of customers, and participated in the Winter Marketing Educators' Conference in Las Vegas, NV. 

Have you ever tried explaining complex business theories to your students? Many people have found success by using active learning tools like business simulations. However, there are a few things you should know before you buy and implement business strategy games to ensure that its a roaring success in your class. The annual conference organized by the Academy of Management has once again been a tremendous success. Educators from all over the world came to share ideas, sit in on sessions, and come by the exhibitor hall to meet publishers and educational tool providers. This time around, the location was the prestigious city of Boston, MA — home to both Harvard and MIT. We would like to thank the AOM team, our visitors, and our clients for coming by our desk and sharing their opinion with us on the business simulations industry.

The annual Academy of Marketing conference is just around the corner. This year, the event will be held in Southampton (United Kingdom) between 2-5 of July, 2012. If you are a marketing educator living in Europe, this is certainly a conference not to miss out on. Apart from papers presented on various marketing discipline related topics, there will also be a workshop organized by us on using marketing simulations in education.
