Heat, humidity and thousands of management professors from all over the world; this welcomed the attendees of the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Orlando, FL. This year's theme was 'Capitalism in Question' and the sessions covered a variety of exciting papers centered around the subject. Cesim Business Simulations was represented at two locations this year: the main exhibit hall at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and outside Ballroom J at the Coronado Springs Resort.
By bringing two brand new business simulation games to the event (Cesim Bank simulation game and Cesim Project Management simulation game) and adding an additional table where conference goers could meet us, we had a very successful three days with many a great discussions with professors. Some of the recurring topics included the levels and disciplines covered by our business management games, customization options, the delivery method, length of the online simulation games, the assessment feature, multi language capabilities and pricing.
We were very happy to see a definite increase in interest for business games this year, and a better understanding of the value they provide alongside the traditional theory based educational format.
Due to the nature of the event, our business, strategy and management simulations were in highest demand, with our new banking simulator game and electric simulation not far behind.
