Marketing Simulation At AMA2013What an amazing start to the new year! Only two months into 2013 and we have already conducted several very successful simulation training webinars aimed at our new instructors, added London Business School and the Higher Colleges of Technology to our list of customers, and participated in the Winter Marketing Educators' Conference in Las Vegas, NV.

With over 600 participants, the American Marketing Associations' semi-yearly event is always a great opportunity for marketing educators from around the world to share their views on the latest developments in the field. It is also an excellent place for vendors like Cesim Business Simulations to meet prospecting clients, talk about what professors are looking for in a marketing simulation, and scope out emerging trends.

Year after year, performance and learning evaluation is at the forefront of the educators' mind, and it wasn't any different this time. If you are like the professors we've spoken to, you will be excited to know that a new and comprehensive assessment system is in the works at Cesim business simulation games. The multi-tiered feature set will be rolled out gradually during 2013 and our existing business games customers already have the option to sign up for an exclusive first view at some of the functionalities.

Embracing a wide variety of cultures and languages in which professors teach, we thrive to create a solution that caters to students from all over the world. For this reason, Cesim Business Simulations have been translated to more than 10 languages, and more are being added all the time.

Not only can your students speak different languages, they might also be sitting in a whole other campus in another country while taking the same course. While this can be challenging to manage, our location independent web-based platform lets you facilitate your business strategy games courses in either a classroom, a hybrid or completely online format.

Visitors to this year's AMA conference were also keen on understanding the freedom they have over the simulation case and parameters. While the default starting position, market fluctuations and currencies may be suitable for one course, it might not be for another. Furthermore, customizing the existing Cesim cases can also improve the replayabilty value significantly and reduce the chance for strategy-copying by students.

The next AMA conference is going to take place is Boston, MA during Aug 9-11, 2013.
