I established Cesim for providing intellectual challenges for individual business skills. After playing business games as a hobby and founding them to be so rewarding, my purpose was to enable others with practicing and deeper understanding in an efficient, motivating and fun way.
We match or develop a business game to the learning goals – which in turn gives us the challenges and the motivation that we are looking for in what we do and feel proud of.
Innovative simulation games that run themselves without administration and technical limits for tens of thousands of users in all the continents was our dream when we started. Today we are looking for new ways to exceed ourselves in the fascinating world of simulations.

I have been a business simulation enthusiast since the first time I ever tried one at college in the early 90’s and ever since my personal mission has been to facilitate the simulation-based learning becoming of de-facto standard in education and training. I am a great believer in technology as an enabler for more interactive and effective implementation of learning solutions, but fundamentally there is nothing more important than content and the power of engagement.
Still, the real fire in my driving on is that I am a family man who has been blessed with a great other half and three wonderful kids.

I have over 5 years of experience from various fields such as mobile technologies, game design and digital marketing (both on the production and project management side). Prior to joining Cesim, I was a project manager at the Finnish marketing agency FWD Helsinki, where I successfully led a creative team of digital marketing professionals to deliver projects to clients such as Sonera and Global Champions Tour. I pride myself for having some creative flair as well, having been a concept designer at the internet agency Valve, and a game designer at Digital Chocolate.
I have joined Cesim, because I deeply believe in the educational value of our innovative learning solutions, and as a business student myself, I derived great value from the hands-on exercises that such tools provided.

Born in Kashmir, brought up in Yorkshire and now living in Helsinki. I appreciate the relatively relaxed pace of life in Helsinki and I’ve even grown to enjoy the cold winters. Away from work I devote much of my time to my son, and when he and the weather permit, I play football. Badly. I’m also a fan of films and food.

When I decided to choose to live the life of an expatriate in Finland, I didn't know what to expect, but was surely lead by my passion for travelling. More than anything else, I found a second home here, which I am lucky to share with a lovely partner. Activities like trekking, football or skiing generally occupy my free time, and I like to enjoy nature whenever I can.
Fascinated by new technologies, I appreciate working in an innovative and truly international environment.

I'm originally from Honduras but I have had the wonderful opportunity to live in the US, Brazil, Norway, Lithuania, Holland and finally, Finland. I got my degree in Advertising from Brazil and my degrees in International Business and Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics. I enjoy reading, playing guitar and performing with my band. Family and friends are what inspire and drive me forward. As part of the Nintendo generation, it is only natural to be part of the Cesim family: learning by doing has always been my motto.

If I say that I am a Spaniard living in Helsinki, it says nothing and it says it all. My life is held by a marvelous family from out there, Spain, a wonderful love partner and a great bunch of friends who dress my days and stand me up when needed. I am an avid reader and writer, and to me fly fishing is basically the greatest thing to do whenever I have time to.
My educational background is Forest and Environmental Engineering (Master Degree from Spain), continued once in Finland with a M.Sc. in Forest Products Marketing.

Life is a serious game. You have your resources to manage: knowledge to wield, ideas to benefit from, technology to exploit, money in your bank account and gas in your car's fuel tank. You add a bit of the random factor - which makes it all the more exciting and voila. How you use your resources up can make the difference if you get to where you want to or not.
I like business sims for their micro representation of the real world. I don't like 500 page books or case studies turned cliché. I like playing games because if I fail then I'm still a winner due to my gained experience. I don't like to be limited to a single way when having to do something. I enjoy collaboration and openness and I dread secrecy.
What else is there besides business sims? I value the slow-paced living typical to Transylvania, I am always ready to visit friends abroad and couldn’t live without my gadgets.

I have been working with Cesim for over two years now and I'm responsible for the Middle East business development. I believe in the power of simulations and technology as learnin tools. I'm living in the marvelous city Istanbul, surrounded by water and I'm passionate about my city.
